Private islands always mean secluded getaways. When you want to get that feeling of isolation, without veering too far away from civilization, the Bahamas is a good place to be. Williams Cay is set on 180 acres of pristine paradise, with a six-bedroom and six-bath main house located at the very top of the island. It has a mile-long beach with deep water access for your yachts and access to electricity from the main island. In case of power interruptions, the island has a standby generator so you don’t get sent back to the Stone Age when things go wrong. Then again, no power and no distraction can sometimes make the isolation much better. $21.9 million.
