Vertu Signature Pure Black

Vertu has recently added a new cell phone to their signature collection; the Signature Pure Black. It is made by using the Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technique that is also used in making watches. In a nutshell, it involves vaporizing a block of Titanium Carbide at extremely high temperatures using a plasma beam in a vacuum chamber. PVD is rugged, hard and almost impossible to scratch. The phone will be available at the Vertu boutique on Via Montanapoleone 29 in Milan. $14,835.
