Ulysse Nardin Freak Blue Phantom

Nothing freaky about the Ulysse Nardin Freak Blue Phantom, except for the fact that it doesn’t have dials nor actual watch hands, not even a crown. You tell time through markers found on the movement itself, the mechanical wonder that’s proudly on display here, the Calibre UN 200 which is a seven-day carousel tourbillon. The hour is displayed by an arrow on the main spring barrel. A balance wheel assembly on the upper bridge revolves once every hour and that shows the minutes. Every pivot on the 28,800 V/h movement is clearly on display here – just a testament as to just how good the mechanical workings are on this rare and fabulous timepiece. ~$75,000.
