The RL Sporting Watch

The RL Sporting Watch is an elegant and sporty watch that draws inspiration from the brand’s passion for vintage cars. Inspired by the 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic coupe, this timepiece has a beautiful outer dial out of an elm burl, the same one on the dash of the designer’s Bugatti. It has a matte black galvanic dial that features Arabic numerals and arrow-shaped hour and minute hands that move around an open railroad-like track. The crown of the RL Sporting Watch has an “RL” mark and the exhibition caseback reveals the RL Caliber RL98295 made by IWC at the back. It is powered by a manually-wound movement with 156 components and a power reserve of 45 hours. The decor is Vertical Côtes de Genève and Perlage. $13,200.
