Simon Jansens Steampunk Record Player
Simon Jansen took one look at his garage and found parts that some would consider as junk. He saw other things and the Steampunk Record Player was born. He made a small steam engine with a boiler crafted from a copper water pipe and carved some wood for the custom platter and base. Add some magnets, a coil for a pickup and a servo that’s controlled by Arduino, an open-source software and a literal Steampunk record player is born. Sadly though, it’s all but a demonstration and the maker has no plans of building the thing for mass market. You could contact him though and make him an offer he can’t refuse if you really want it.
