Shelby continues to innovate and there’s no stopping them, when it comes to car technology. Guess what? The Shelby GT500 Super Snake, a Mustang that was introduced three years ago has just been upgraded and is set to be released next year, though it will be showcased at the 2011 New York International Auto Show later this month. It’s indeed a beast with a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine that can hit 800-hp! Its engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, comes complete with Ford Racing handling pack, tuned stabilizer bars, lowering springs, front strut tower brace), a Borla exhaust system, Alcoa wheels (20 inches), Shelby/Baer brakes with 6-piston callipers, a unique fibreglass hood and signature Super Snake stripes in either matte black or matte white. $50,000+.
