Ruwa

Islamic laws strictly forbid its followers from drinking any form of alcoholic drink. But since drinking is also a social experience, the Beverage Company of the UK formulated the Ruwa. It’s a non-alcoholic drink with elderflower and rose essences, minus the alcohol. And since it’s targeted to those deep-pocketed Emirates, the Ruwa comes in a special decanter made of 8,000 diamonds, 200 rubies and a couple bars of white gold. Two versions are available: a cheaper one worth around $817,000 and a $5.5 million version. Don’t worry, you’ll get free refills but you won’t get that buzz.

We hope you enjoyed this Ruwa article!
