Rémy Martin has unveiled its new top-end Cognac produced exclusively for travel retailers – the Rémy Martin Diamant Fine Champagne Cognac. Inspired by a faceted diamond that we usually see in a jewelery box, this Diamant Fine Champagne Cognac is scheduled to be introduced initially in October at DFS stores in celebration of the leading travel retailer’s 50th anniversary, followed by the introduction at other key airports and travel retail outlets. It’s created by Cellar Master Pierrette Trichet, the first-ever woman to be a Cellar Master in Cognac, and only the fourth Cellar Master at the venerable Cognac house in the past 100 years. This champagne is created by focusing on four Cs – the Carat, Cut, Color and Clarity. It features a chiseled, glittering decanter that reveals the mahogany liquid, a cabochon stopper featuring Rémy Martin’s centaur motif and an elegant bevelled case, in a silvery metallic colour, designed to open out like a jewelery box. $1,000.
