When you’re celebrating 110 years in the business of haute horology, you don’t want your anniversary watch to run out of power. That won’t happen, at least for 10 days, when you’ve strapped the Oris 110 Years Limited Edition to your wrist. The special edition watch also marks the brand’s first foray into an in-house movement. The Oris Calibre 110 features 40 jewels and a 10-day power reserve. The remaining power is indicated on the dial, through a non-linear display. This is clearly denoted by the uneven spacing on the scale for the power display. Across that is a small seconds subdial. The watchface is a picture of elegance and simplicity, with large hands and an opaline dial. Housing the new calibre is a 43mm case that’s available in stainless steel or rose gold. These are matched by either a black or brown alligator leather strap. Enjoy seeing the movement as well through the visible caseback. Only 110 samples will be available. ~$6,300+.
