Nike MAG
The kick-ass shoes worn by Michael J. Fox, aka Marty McFly in the hit movie “Back to the Future Part II” has officially been launched by Nike. It is now up for auction with the shoes’ proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help victims of Parkinson’s disease. The auction will last ’til September 18, 2011, so most likely its price will blow up to $40,000+ a pair. Limited to 1,500 pairs, these sneakers are similar to those worn by the actor in the movie, except for the power lacing feature, glowing LEDs and an electroluminescent “Nike” in the strap. Its electroluminescent logo can glow for five hours in a single charge, by the way. ~$4,000.
