The Tourbillon ‘Bi-Cylindrique’ features not one, but two cylindrical balance springs that cancel each other’s potential inaccuracies. The tourbillon complication further increases accuracy by negating gravity’s ill-effects on a mechanical watch. Montblanc dubs the dial as a ‘mystery’, because of the seeming lack of linkages from the tourbillon cage to the dial. Because of the complexity of this timepiece, only eight will be made in either white or red gold. $297,000+.
