McIntosh C50 Preamp

McIntosh Labs demonstrate that digital and analog can peacefully coexist in one package. The audio company provides the device for beaming out both inputs faithfully. The C50 has a dedicated USB connection that allows you to play directly from your Mac or PC, even from your wireless devices along with the usual analog inputs. Like its predecessor, the C48, the C50 has an eight band graphic equalizer, inputs for eight devices and three balanced outputs. Sure, it doesn’t have the exotic tube circuitry, but this preamp should deliver booming audio whenever you demand it. $6,500.
