Martin-Baker Mark II Ejection Seat

For combat pilots, the ejection seat meant the difference between a soft landing or a fiery ball of death when things to terribly awry. Back in the 60s, the Royal Air Force commissioned Martin-Baker Aerospace for an ejection seat for the pilots flying the English Electric Nuclear Strike bomber. The fully-automatic Mark II was the result. Every bit of the actual seat was soldered and polished to give you a visually stimulating mechanical piece. Even the telescopic rocket motors are included, albeit disarmed for your protection, in case you wanna test the eject lever from your living room. $35,000.
