Iwana Superyacht

You’d never think that an iguana can be the inspiration for yachts but Alex McDiarmid thinks otherwise. His latest concept, the Iwana, is an 85m superyacht that will carry design cues like none other in its class. The Iwana sticks to a traditional bow but the rest of the boat is totally radical. In theory, the yacht will have 16 guest berths plus 20 more for her crew. She’ll have a 6,900 nautical mile range, cruising at 14 knots with a top speed of 18 knots. A helicopter and some toys to accompany this beauty out to sea are also in development. $TBD.
