Infinity I-Kitchen

The Infinity I-Kitchen is Electrolux’s latest fridge that is web-enabled and is running on Linux, allowing users to access built-in apps including notes, calendar, contacts, reminders, photos, tips and recipes with a clean user interface. They developed this Linux Fridge in collaboration with the Brazilian subsidiary of Electrolux and ProFusion embedded systems. It features a touchscreen-enabled ARM device, a 480×800 resolution display and a Freescale hardware i.MX25 running at 400Mhz with 128Mb RAM. This has to be the coolest fridge I have seen so far, combining technology, style and functionality.

We hope you enjoyed this Infinity I-Kitchen article!
