Grieb & Benzinger Blue Sensation

Grieb & Benzinger has unveiled its latest timepiece which they call the “Blue Sensation”. It’s a chronograph based on a historic 1889 Patek Philippe for Tiffany movement. This one of kind watch is the successor of their Blue Wave 18-karat rose gold monopusher chronograph. The designers have reached an all-time high in design and build difficulty with the assembly and fine-tuning of each bridge on the visible movement. It’s also the only watch of its kind to feature a split-seconds skeletonized regulator. And it’s also the heaviest watch in terms of platinum quantity at 165 grams. $264,000.
