DNA 100m Superyacht

The human machine is an incredible display of design and engineering marvel. After looking at other things for inspiration, Alex McDiarmid searched within the human body and envisioned the DNA Superyacht. Two versions will be available, including the bigger, 100 meter boat. The main design looks like the skeletal system, complete with bones and ligaments. The DNA also features Day Light Opening (DLO) to represent the organs. Steel will be used for the hull and aluminum for the superstructures. But the chassis could feature composite materials for strength and weight reduction. Power will be provided by conventional diesel or hybrid propulsion systems for a cruising speed of 16 knots and topping at 20. There will be accommodation for 14 guests and 24 crew members. $TBA.
