Chopard L.U.C. Engine One

Apart from aviation, the world of automobiles inspire some of the most radical watch designs of late. Chopard isn’t far behind with the L.U.C. Engine One Tourbillon. The watchface is designed to look like an engine block, with the mechanical parts clearly visible. Chopard designed and manufactured a special movement called the L.U.C. Calibre 1TRM for the ‘Only Watch 2011′, with a cadence of 28,800 vph and a 60-hour power reserve, clearly displayed like a speedo on the 12 o’clock position. $TBD.
