The Brabus Mercedes-Benz SLS Widestar is a wide version SLS that’s made with aerodynamic-enhancing components developed in the wind tunnel. All components are made from carbon fiber and are available with a matte or glossy clear-coated finish. But you can have these components painted in body or contrasting color as well. Brabus equips the SLS with a front spoiler for the production front fascia to to reduce lift at the front and rear axle. It also has a rear spoiler and a rear diffuser that creates a better aerodynamic balance. It’s a gullwinged car, as you can see in the photo, which helps in improving aerodynamic efficiency. It also has rocker panels that were sculpted to optimize the airflow between front and rear axle for that perfect transition to the Widestar components on the rear axle. It also features blue-illuminated Brabus logos that are activated via the keyless fob or by pulling on a door handle. It’s also lowered by up to 30 millimeters (1.2 inches), and features a high-performance exhaust system with four slanted exhaust tips with a diameter of 84 millimeters (3.3 inches). It’s powered by a 6.3-liter eight-cylinder engine that produces an even more powerful exhaust note than with the production model. The Brabus exhaust system is manufactured from extremely lightweight titanium and weighs 12 kilograms (26 lbs.) or 40 percent less than the production exhaust. Another welcome by-product of this exhaust is an increase in power output by 10 hp. This Brabus offers a multitude of exclusive custom interior options for the two-seater car as well.
