BMW i Series

BMW has pulled the wraps off their new concept cars, called the BMW i Series. The i-Series is all about efficiency and eco-friendliness, as these models are electric and hybrid vehicles. There will be two models for the series, the all-electric i3 (set to launch in 2013) and the i8 high-performance plug-in hybrid (set to launch in 2014). The i3 is a four-seater designed to be spacious and comfortable. Its interior is mostly made from natural fibers while the seats are naturally tanned leather. The i8 is a sports car that combines an electric powertrain that is similar to the i3’s. However, we don’t know how much these cars will cost us, but as always, we’ll keep you posted as soon as we get that information. $TBA.
