BenRiach 1978 Firkin Whiskey

It is true that the older the whiskey gets, the better it becomes, and that’s what BenRiach 1978 Firkin Whiskey is all about. It’s a 32 year old single malt whiskey that has been released by the Speyside’s BenRiach Distillery. It is also the distillery’s rarest with only 40 bottles made. ‘Firkin’ is a term that was used in old times to refer to a cask that was used for aging whiskeys. Thus, the traditional method has been used in the making of the rare malt. This will be sold this month in major liquor stores, though we’re not sure for how much. The only thing that we know so far is that it will be packed in clear and bright unique wooden gift box.
