Audi Supermaxi

Changing the ultra-competitive world of yacht sailing is Audi with its newest Supermaxi. Only one of seven in the world, the sailboat will be showcased at the Marina Bay in Singapore along with the launch of the Audi A6. The extreme sailing yacht is 30 meters long and 40 meters tall, or as high as a 14-story building. Its sails measure about the same as five tennis courts and it weighs just 20 tonnes. This means that this craft can sail up to 33 knots (about 38 mph) and it holds a couple of world records along with two Maxi World Championships. She’ll be on display in Singapore from the end of August ’til September.
