2012 BMW M5

BMW is showing the world that a reduction in the number of cylinders for the brand-new M5 doesn’t equate to a decrease in power. On the contrary, the 2012 model has more, peaking at 560hp with 500 lb.ft. of torque, making this car’s V8 the baddest engine the company delivers for a production model. BMW yanked the engine from the X5M and X6M for the M5, giving it a couple of turbos plus a clever throttle management system. All that power is interpreted by the seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox spinning the rear wheels. Acceleration is an astonishing 4.2 seconds from 0-60mph onwards to a top speed of 190mph. Like with past M5′s, this one is loaded with luxury as well. ~$92,000+.
